The contest is open to all young adults ages 15 to 21.  The applicant does not need to be a Lion or know a Lion but must reside in Bay, Saginaw, Tuscola, or Genesse counties.  The deadline for an essay that fulfills the requirements is due by November 30, 2019.  Winners will be notified by December 30, 2019. Young adults may also travel without the Essay Scholarship by fillout the application located on this website.
